Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University are seen at MoU signing ceremony between EIIE and DIU for setting up German Resource Center at DIU Campus. High Officials of both the organization were also present during the signing ceremony.
Daffodil International University (DIU) and the EURASIA Institute for International Education (EIIE), Berlin, Germany are jointly setting up a German Resource Center (GRC) at DIU campus. The objective of GRC is to teach German language to DIU students and help them to take admission in German universities for their Masters level study. In this regard DIU and EIIE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding today on October 14, 2015 held at Conference Room of the university. Under this agreement GRC will work for DIU students to send them German Universities in a proper way at a minimum cost. This was also informed in the MoU signing ceremony that from now on; the students will get German Language education (A1, A2, and B1) here on DIU Campus. Teachers from Germany will conduct the German Language courses and certify the students after testing.

For informing the students about various opportunities of GRC, Mr. Andrew John Geddes, Founder Director of EIIE, came on a three-day visit to Daffodil International University. He spoke at seminars on “Higher Studies in Germany” as keynote speaker at DIU Main Campus, DIU Permanent Campus at Ashulia and Uttara Campus and held discussion with the group of students of DIU & DIIT who will visit Germany in next winter at Conference Room of DIU. He also held a discussion meeting with the top management of Daffodil International University today at Vice Chancellors Office.
