Guests at the seminar on “Higher Studies in Germany” held today at DIU Permanent Campus
Daffodil International University ( DIU) and the EURASIA Institute for International Education (EIIE), Berlin Germany have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on sending DIU students to German Universities in a proper way at a minimum cost. From now on, the students will get German Language education (A1, A2, and B1) here on DIU Campus. Teachers from Germany will conduct the German Language courses and certify the students after testing.

For informing the students about verious opportunities, Mr. Andrew John Geddes, Founder Director of EIIE, came on a three-day visit to Daffodil International University. Today he spoke at a seminar on “Higher Studies in Germany” as keynote speaker at DIU Permanent Campus at Ashulia. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Director, Permanent Campus presided over the seminar. The seminar was also addressed by Dr. Binoy Barman, Director, Daffodil Institute of Languages (DIL), Dr. A B M Kamal Pasha, Deputy Registrar,DIU Permanent Campus, Mr. Mamoon Rafique and Mr. Sumon Talukder of admission.ac.
Finally on Wednesday (October 14, 2015) he will conduct a seminar at DIU Banquet Hall, (Level-8,Daffodil Tower-5, Dhanmondi) and will hold formal meeting with DIU Management

In the seminar Mr. Andrew John Geddes highlighted the scope and opportunities for Bangladeshi students for higher education in the German universities. This was informed in the seminar that EIIE and DIU are jointly setting up a German Resource Center (GRC) at DIU campus. The objective of GRC is to teach German language to DIU students and help them to take admission in German universities for their Masters level study.
