A seminar on "English Foundation Program and Feedback" was organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Daffodil International University in association with Dept. of English of the University today on October 8, 2015. Professor Dr. Yoursuf M. Islam, Vice Chancellor of the university was present as Chief Guest while Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman was present as special guest. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC, presided over the seminar and the key resource person was English Specialist Professor Claire Bradin Siskin. The seminar was moderated by Ms.Ummey Kulsum, Head, Dept. of English.
Professor Claire Bradin Siskin, English Specialist made some recommendations for achieving focused oriented results. She urged the teachers to stress on using more IT as a tool to learn English. Prof. Yousuf M. Islam argued that in the twenty first century, English is a communicative tool and foundation of English should be stronger to get success in the competitive world.
