Top level faculty members of Computer Science & Engineering department of Daffodil International University in the grand meeting
As a part of promoting cross-campus collaboration and interaction among the faculty members, Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Daffodil International University (DIU) hold a grand faculty meeting on Saturday, 19 September, 2015 at the Permanent Campus of DIU at Ashulia. All the faculty members of CSE department from three different campuses attended the meeting with the initiative and invitation of Professor Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Head, Dept. of CSE. The meeting discussed on teaching and quality control along with a general discussion on overall semester activities. A programming contest at the permanent campus was also held in parallel where the students of Permanent Campus actively participated. This created huge enthusiasm among the students at the permanent campus. The contest was organized by the Daffodil ACM-ICPC contestants Munna, Shovo, Ishtique and Razzak from the main campus. The top teams were awarded by cash prizes on behalf of the Head of the department.

Presided over by Professor. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Head of the department of CSE, the meeting was addressed by Emeritus Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Director, Permanent Campus, Professor Dr. S. M. Mahbub-Ul- Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Golam Mowla Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Wendy Garland, Visiting Professor, Professor Dr. Hasanuzzaman, Adjunct Faculty, CSE. A total of 80 full time faculty members participated in the meeting.
Dr. Mostafa Kamal and his team arranged all hospitality. The meeting ended with luncheon and thanks giving.
