Speakers at the seminar on Public Health Education In Bangladesh held at at Kumudini Women Medical College & Hospital
To create awareness on role of Public Health Education the Department of Public Health of Daffodil International University organized a seminar on “Public Health Education in Bangladesh” at Kumudini Women Medical College & Hospital, Tangail on August 23, 2015. Prof. A. K Azad Khan, President, Bangladesh Diabetic Association was present as the chief guest in the seminar. The seminar was presided over by Prof. M. A. Halim, Principal, Kumudini Women Medical College and Hospital and was addressed by Dr. SM Keramat Ali, Professor, Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Associate Professor and Head, Dr. Salamat Khandker, Associate Professor, Md. Arifuzzaman, Senior Coordination Officer of Department of Public Health of Daffodil International University. More than two hundred students of the college attended the seminar.
Dr. Md. Shahjahan delivered an informative multimedia presentation on important findings of the entire public health scenario of the country.
Speakers at the seminar underscored the need of creating awareness about public health to improve the entire public health scenario and medical treatment of the country. Speakers highlighted the importance of MPH program in DIU as this program is maintaining quality of education and inspires nurses to effectively deliver nursing services in community settings.
