Members of DIU Cultural Club is rendering songs at the program to mark the 74th death anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore at Daffodil International University

Marking the 74th death anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore Daffodil International University Cultural Club (DIUCC) arranged musical programs along with recitation and commemorative discussion to pay tribute to the bard on August 09, 2015 at DIU Auditorium. The Event named as “সৃষ্টি রক্ষা” was organized successfully by DIUCC. Dr. Jhumur Ahmed (Assistant Professor in Music of UODA and Mr. Ashish Narayan Sharkar (B.Music and N.Music ) from Shantiniketon. Kolkata, India were present as the Guest of Honor to make the event more colorful. Two very special guests Debjaani and Anki Tiyaan from India also joined the event and shared their thoughts about Rabindranath.
Prof. Dr. Syed Akhtar Hossain, Head CSE, Professor Dr. Binoy Barman, Associate Professor of English Department, Mr. Mahbub Parvez, Head, Tourism and Hospitality Management Department, Mr. Rashedul Hasan, Associate lecture of Journalism), Mr. Anuz Kumar Chakrabarty, Senior Lecturer of BBA, Ms. ShamsiAra Huda, Senior lecturer of English and Mr. Mustafizur Rahman Sameen, Assistant Professor of English and Convener of DIUCC were present in the program.

The member’s of DIUCC played some renowned number of Rabindra Sangeet with the mixture of various instruments and made it a perfect unplugged Rabindra Sangeet Session for the audience. The chief guest’s, guests from India and Faculty members also joined them on stage and helped to made it a perfect Rabindra Sangeet evening.
