To guide the proper career planning and shape up the career in a new dimension to cope up with the hyper competitive market Career Development Center (CDC) of Daffodil International University arranged a international seminar on “Employability Plus” conducted by The Future Leaders Ltd., UK today on July 9, 2015 at DIU Auditorium. Nazir Alam, CEO, The Future Leaders Ltd., UK was the keynote speaker in of the seminar. Presided over by Syed Maruf Reza, Director, Career Development Center (CDC), the seminar was addressed by Prof. Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ismail Mostafa, Dean, Faculty of Alied Health Science, Dewan Hanif Mahmud, Editor and Ms. Humaira Sharmeen, Managing Editor of The daily Bonik Barta and Ms. Kazi Farzana Sharmin, Training Coordinator, the Future Leaders Ltd, UK. A large number of students of different department attended the seminar and joined question – answer session with keynote speaker. The daily Bonik Barta was the media partner of the seminar.

Addressing the seminar the speakers said, only the academic performance will not be the means of become successful or uphold better position in career. They stressed on the need for the capacity building training and extra-curricular activities beside academic education. They urged the students to have such type of training and extra-curricular activities to gain adequate knowledge which will add additional mileage or advantage in their career to become successful not only in local market but, also in global market.
