The orientation program for the newly enrolled undergraduate students of Spring and Summer-2015 semester at Uttara Campus of Daffodil International University was held on May 30, 2014 at campus Auditorium. Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University graced the orientation program as chief guest while Prof. Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics were present as the special guest.

The Orientation Program was conducted by Mr. Abu Saleh Md. Rafi, Lecturer, English Department and Ms. Sonali Rani Upadhaya, Lecturer, Law Department and the program included introduction session, presentation session, briefing session and cultural session. Earlier the newly enrolled students were welcomed with a rose and tuberose.
Addressing as chief guest, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman advised the students to be a complete ideal human being. He said that three major things - discipline, honesty and quality education can make life successful. To be an ideal citizen of the country he advised the students to achieve these virtues and to learn to love the country and to be a true patriot. He urged the newly enrolled students to make the best use of the resources provided by the university and make them fit to face the challenges of the 21st century.
