The orientation program for the newly enrolled undergraduate students of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) of Daffodil International University (DIU) in Summer-2015 semester was held on June 02, 2015 at DIU Conference Room.
Professor Dr. Golam Maowla Chowdhury, Controller of Examination and Proctor of Daffodil International University was present in the orientation program as chief guest.
Presided over by Professor Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Head, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE), the function was addressed by Mr. Md. Taslim Arefin, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) of DIU.
Addressing as chief guest, Professor Dr. Golam Maowla Chowdhury, Controller of Examination and Proctor of DIU urged the newly enrolled students to make the best use of their time and the resources provided by the university and make them fit to face the challenges of the 21st century.
He also said that Daffodil International University is doing well in all respects, commitment, transparency and quality of education made the university a renowned one.
Professor Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Head, Department of ETE advised the students to become punctual and devoted to study and work hard to make life successful and to be an ideal citizen of the country. He urged the students not to be worried about job placement rather to become a quality graduate, because DIU graduates have already proven their performance, quality, skills and expertise in different national and international job market. Each and every reputed company or organization in Bangladesh and abroad got the vey positive impression about the graduates from the Department of ETE of Daffodil International University.
