Guests at the publication ceremony of the books of “Addresses as Vice Chancellor ( 2002-2011) and Emeritus Professor ( 2011-2013) and “ Jatio Bishawbidalloyer Upacharjo thakakalin Amar Kotipoy Vashon ( 1996-2000)” written by Founder Vice Chancellor and Emeritus Professor of Daffodil International University Professor Dr. Aminul Islam was held today on June 06, 2015 at Daffodil International University ( DIU) Auditorium.
Professor Dr. Harun-Or-Rashid, Vice Chancellor, National University was present as the chief guest at the publication ceremony and unveiled the cover of the books. Former Vice Chancellor of Islamic University, Kushtia and Pro-Vice Chancellor of National University Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman and Vice Chancellor of North South University Prof. Dr. Amin U. Sarker were present as the Special guests. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University presided over the program.
The function was also addressed by Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahma, Pro- Vice Chancellor- Prof. Dr. M. Golam Rahman, Dean of Faculty of Science and IT- Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbub Ul-Haque Majumder, Dean of Faculty of Business and Economics –Professor Rafiqul Islam and Professor Dr. Sirajul Haque of Soil, Water and Environment department of University of Dhaka.

Addressing as the chief guest Prof. Harun –Or-Rashid, said, Man lives through his deeds, similarly Prof. Dr. Aminul Islam will alive for a long time through these creative and artistic books where he compiled all his thoughts on education with his brain storming works. The future generation will be benefitted from his artistic works.
He also said, To uphold the true history of the country to the new generation of the country, National University has introduced a compulsory course of 100 marks titled “Shawdhin Bangladesher Obbhudoyer Etihas”. All the 2154 colleges will bring under high configured connectivity Network within 2016 and National University will be turned into a largest IT based university of the country. The convocation of the National University will be held at the end of 2016 for the first time in the history of its 23rd years of operation, he added.
