Newly enrolled students of MPH Evening program of Daffodil International University
Daffodil International University (DIU) has officially launched its Evening MPH program from May 17, 2015. Prof Dr. M Lutfur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Daffodil International University addressed the program as Chief Guest while Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Public Health presided over the program.
World renowned researcher & Professor Dr Harun-ur Rashid, former Director Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC), Professor Dr. S M Keramat Ali, Dr. Salamat Khandker, Associate Professor, Dr. A B M Alauddin Chowdhury, Assistant Professor, Dr. Nadira Mehriban, Assistant Professor & Medical Officer, Dr. Rijona Jnui, Lecturer, Dept. of Public Health were present among others in the program.
In this summer semester in total 12 students has enrolled into the 1st MPH evening program among them eight students with MBBS/ BDS and others four students are with social science background. Three international students one from Nepal and two from Somalia have enrolled in this evening program. Besides, a record number of students have been enrolled into the Friday – Saturday based MPH program in this summer semester 2015.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. M Lutfur Rahman stressed on the importance of quality education and all out cooperation of teachers and students for the meaningful study and successful program as well.
