Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University (DIU) & Daffodil Group attended the 2 days grand event “Global Education Dialogues 2015- South Asia Series” organized by British Council, held in 06th -7th May 2015 at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka with representation of many Strategic decision-makers from government, education and business; internationally recognized experts, senior researchers, education leaders, entrepreneurs, business and industrial leaders from around the globe. P. Ranepura, Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Government of Sri Lanka inaugurated the program as the guest of honour.
In his vibrant presentation, Md. Sabur Khan focused on significant growth in the number of private sector universities in the past decade; other emerging new models; students’ interest to study in another country for all or part of their course; e-learning and distance learning; development of regional education hubs with international university campuses, etc. which was appreciated by the audience. His active participation opened up scope to flourish Daffodil with many country representatives to build a large scale international networking & contacts.
