A daylong seminar titled ‘Factors Associated with Female Smoking in Dhaka’ held at Daffodil International University on 9th May, 2015 for conducting Field staff training program of a tobacco control research (program) funded by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and facilitated by Bangladesh Center for Communication Program (BCCP). Professor Dr. A. I. Mustafa, Dean FAHS, DIU honored as chief guest while Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Associate Professors & Head, Dept. of Public Health, DIU was present as special guest.
Tanmoy Sana, Chief Researchers and student of 7th batch of MPH of Daffodil International University moderated the training session who received US$5000 from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for conducting research program.
Representatives from BCCP named Dr. Kapil Ahmed, a renowned International research scholar, Facilitator and Population Researcher also a Journal reviewer ornamented this session with his highly experienced and motivational speech. Mrs Farzana Rahman, as a project supervisor from BCCP also gave her valuable input on research questionnaire discussion session and also delivered her speech on role and responsibilities of the interviewers. All the participants and honored guest wished their utmost support and future progress of Tanmoy Sana with successful completion of this valued and exceptional research.
