3 days long workshop on “Entrepreneurship” began today on May 04, 2015 organized by Bachelor of Entrepreneurship (BE) program of Daffodil International University. Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees Daffodil International University inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest. Presided over by Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro- Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. M. Mosharraf Hossain, Chairman and Managing Director, Rapport Bangladesh Limited and Prof. Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics of Daffodil International University were present as the special guests. The inaugural session was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Mahaboob Ali, Convener of the Workshop, Mr. Masum Iqbal, Head, Department of Business administration and Mr. Syed Maruf Reza, Head, Department of Entrepreneurship of Daffodil International University. The workshop is supported by Bangladesh Venture Capital, Enterprise Competitiveness Institute and Daffodil Business Incubator. Participants from different universities, NGO's, Bank, Business Organization and entreprenurs joined the workshop
Addressing as the chief guest Mr.Md. Sabur Khan Said, Right now, there I no alternate of entrepreneurship development for the development of Bangladesh and to become a successful entrepreneur one has to be courage and ability to face the risks and challenges as well as patriotism towards the country. Mentioning different initiatives taken by Bangladesh Bank and SME sectors he said, Finance is not essential to become a entrepreneur rather it requires strengthening personal network, social network and adopting with new technologies.
