The orientation programme for the students of Spring-2015 semester of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Daffodil International University (DIU) was held today on April 7, 2015 at Statup Banquet Hall.
Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of Daffodil International University was present at the program as chief guest. Presided over by Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) the function was addressed among other by Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Golam Mowla Choudhury, Controller of Examination and Proctor, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Student Affairs), Mr. Sk. Abdul Kader Arafin, Coordinator (Evening Program of FSIT), Ahmed Arif, Member EEE Club and Sadman Al Farabi, Robotics Club of DIU.

Addressing as the chief guest Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, welcomed the students to choose Daffodil International University as their career path and said that Daffodil International University is doing well in all respects. Commitment, Transparency and Quality of Education made the university renowned. DIU provides its students best available resources to pursue their studies and hone their skills. Considering the present situation, DIU is providing laptops for students to use on personal basis and thus help them to face the challenges of a globalize world he added.
Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor urged the students to abide by the rules and regulations of the university and thereby build themselves as a complete ideal human being utilizing the resources and facilities of the university and also to contribute to the society and nation.
Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering urged the students to abide by the rules and regulations of the university and expected utmost utilization of the resources of the university from the students to build a bright future.
