Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of Daffodil International University addressing as the chief guest at the orientation programme of newly enrolled students of Spring-2015 semester of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department.

The orientation programme of newly enrolled students of Spring-2015 semester of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of Daffodil International University (DIU) was held today at DIU auditorium. Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of Daffodil International University was the chief guest while Mr. Akhter Ahmed, Country Director, CodersTrust was present as the special guests at the orientation programme.
Presided over by Professor Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the orientation program was addressed by Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. S M Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Golam Mowla Choudhury, Controller of Examination, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Student Affairs), Md. Abdullah Al Noman, Group Leader, Solar Car Project of DIU, Md. Mustafa Shakil, and Md. Masum Bakaul, Student, Department of CSE.
Addressing as the chief guest, Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of DIU urged the newly enrolled students to make the best use of the resources provided by the university and make them fit to face the challenges of the 21st century.
He also said that Daffodil International University is doing well in all respects, commitment, transparency and quality of education made the university renowned. DIU provides its students with many facilities to pursue their studies and hone their skills.
While addressing Prof. Lutfar Rahman urging the students to be an ideal human being said that three major things- discipline, honesty and quality can make life successful and to be an ideal citizen of the country he advised the students to achieve these virtues.
The program was conducted by Ashraful Alam Raj and Susmita Saha, Student of the Department of CSE.
