Students along with the distinguished guests at orientation program of ETE Department of DIU
The orientation program for the newly enrolled undergraduate students of Spring-2015 semester of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) of Daffodil International University was held today on March 31, 2015 at DIU Auditorium.
Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present at the program as chief guest. Presided over by Professor Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Head, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) the function was addressed among other by Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Prof. Dr. Golam Mowla Choudhury, Controller of Examination and Proctor of DIU.
Addressing as chief guest, Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor of DIU urged the newly enrolled students to make the best use of the resources provided by the university and make them fit to face the challenges of the 21st century.
He also said that Daffodil International University is doing well in all respects, commitment, transparency and quality of education made the university renowned. DIU provides its students with many facilities to pursue their studies and hone their skills.
While addressing the speakers urged the students to be an ideal human being hi said that three major things- discipline, honesty and quality can make life successful and to be an ideal citizen of the country he advised the students to achieve these virtues.
The program was conducted by the Mr. Md. Zahirul Islam, Senior Lecturer, Department of ETE.
