Daffodil International University will provide ICT training support at the BSCIC’s Skill Development Centers situated at different places of the country. Beside this, Daffodil International University will set up an Industrial and Innovative Park at Gazaria in Munshiganj District on 15 acres of land to turn the youths trained up at BSCIC centers into Entrepreneurs. The young generation of the country will be provided industrial technology, training, Technical and financial assistance, quality development of the products, marketing facilities and other relevant assistance to be an entrepreneur.
In this regard Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) and Daffodil International University signed an agreement today in a hotel in the capital to support skill development centers of BSCIC situated at different places of the country. Industries Minister Mr. Amir Hossain Amu, MP was present in the agreement signing ceremony as the chief guest. Mr. Shyam Sunder Sikder, Secretary ICT Division, Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University and Mr. Forhad Uddin, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Industries were present as special guests in the program.

The function was also addressed by Professor Dr. Khondoker Bazlul Huq, University of Dhaka, Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University, Mr.Abu Taher Khan, Director (Technical).
Addressing as the chief guest Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu said, Due to innovation of new technology worldwide and open market economy, products of one country reach to another country very fast. At this, it becomes very difficult to uphold our own markets. In this perspective to achieve industrial target, we will have to take the initiative to produce world class products. There is no alternate of addition of value to the products and ensure quality products with low price, he added.
Amir Hossain Amu Also said, Setting up an Industrial and Innovative Park would accelerate the speed of developing creative youth entrepreneurs throughout the country. At this, a large portion of newly added 20 lac people in labour market every year will get employment opportunity. He expressed that this would expand the way to create large number of trained and skilled manpower in Bangladesh.
Addressing as the special guest Md. Sabur Khan said, we want to build Skill Development Centers of BSCIC in Tangail, Rajshahi, Barishal, Jessore and Sylhet as an ideal and as a role model as per agreement. We have a plan to set up an Industrial and Innovative Park at Gazaria in Munshiganj District on 15 acres of land where the young generation of our country will get all sorts of opportunity to create them as a world class skilled manpower and to be an entrepreneur. Industrial Innovation Park will include practical learning, product producing, marketing process through supply chain, marketing equipments and financial support through banking, he added.
