Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro –Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University and Convener of Global Money Week -2015 addressing at the “Meet the Press” held today at Dhaka Reporters Unity.
With the vision to inspire and educate youth to becoming entrepreneur, Daffodil International University (DIU) is going to observe the Global Money Week-2015 from March 09 - 17, 2015 Bangladesh in association with Ministry of Education. This was informed in a “Meet the Press’ held today on March 04, 2015 at Dhaka Reporters Unity.

Golam Rahman, Pro –Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University and Convener of Global Money Week -2015 observance committee uphold the details of the week long program at the ‘Meet the Press’. The meet the Press was also addressed by Mr. Masum Iqbal, Head, Department of Business Administration, DIU, Mr. K.M. Hassan Ripon, Director, Bangladesh Skill Development Institute, Mr. M. K. Aaref, Director, Edward M Kenedy Center, Mr. Abul Hasant Sohag, DU Timez, and Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman, Management Consultant, Hyper Tech.
It was informed in the “Meet the Press” that Global Money Week-2015 will be inaugurated on March 09, 2015. To create Awareness among mass people the Week long programs include Seminar /workshop, Competition, Industry Visit, Mind Mapping, Ring the Bell, Inviting Banks / Institutions / Stakeholders and making a bridge between them, Visiting Money Museum and Awarding Young Entrepreneurs. Support partner of the events are British Council, Bangladesh Skill Development Institute, Edward M Kenedy Center, Daffodil International School and hypertech Limited.
It was informed at the ‘Meet the Press that Global Money Week takes place every year during the second week of March. It is coordinated by the Child and Youth Finance International (CYFI) Secretariat, but the events themselves are organized by schools, universities, government ministries, central banks, financial institutions, members of the civil society and communities of active youth worldwide. Daffodil International University introduced to observe this week in Bangladesh from last year.
