Ms. Umme Kulsum, Head, Department of English and Ms. Farhana Helal Mehtab, Head, Department of Law along with other distinguished guests are inaugurating 8th International Children’s Film Festival, Bangladesh-2015 at Daffodil International University.
English Literary Club (ELC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized “8th International Children’s Film Festival, Bangladesh-2015” for the 3rd time. The inauguration ceremony was held on January 27, 2015 at Daffodil International University auditorium. Ms. Umme Kulsum, Head, Department of English, Ms. Farhana Helal Mehtab, Head, Department of Law, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Student Affairs), Ms. Shamsi Ara Huda, Assistant Professor, Mr. Md. Nuruzzaman Moral, Lecturer, Department of English and Convener of English Literary Club (ELC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) were present at the inauguration ceremony.
A team from the renowned short film “Garioala” was present at the ceremony. One of the main motives of the festival is to give the children a basic idea on the media as it is a powerful source of learning through entertainment. The program was conducted by Nafiza Nawar, 25th Batch, Department of English, Daffodil International University.
