13th Foundation Anniversary of Daffodil International University celebrated in a befitting manner on 24th January, 2015. To mark the day a Cake cutting program was held at DIU Auditorium where Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University was present as the chief guest with other distinguished high officials of DIU. Professor Dr. M. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Aminul Islam, Founder Vice Chancellor and Emeritus Professor, Professor Dr. S. M. Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, Controller of Examinations & Dean FSIT. Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, FBE, Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr. Md. Golam Mowla Choudhury, Professor and Proctor of the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director (International Affairs), Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Student Affairs), Mr. Md. Milan Khan, Librarian, Mr. Mominul Haque Majumder, Director (Finance & Accounts), all heads of the department and other high officials were present during the cake cutting ceremony.
The ceremonial program of the 13th Founding Anniversary will be held on February 14, 2015 at Ashulia Permanent campus with great enthusiasm where 15000 students will take part a day long program including bus rally, games and sports, musical soiree and many other colorful program.
While addressing on this happy occasion Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman thanked all those whose efforts have brought Daffodil International University in today’s prestigious position and established DIU as a renowned university in Bangladesh. He also expressed his dream to see Daffodil International University as No. 1 University in coming days and for that he would continue his tireless effort for gradual development of the university both in quality and physical infrastructure.
Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor also thanked especially to Honorable Chairman, Board of Trustees, Founder Vice Chancellor, Academic Council and Syndicate members of the university for their great leadership and contribution to bring the university to this position.
