Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) in WITSA Global ICT Excellence Award 2014 celebration program held on November 13, 2014 at Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) auditorium.
Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, DIU and Mr. AHM Mahfuzul Arif, President, BCC signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Honorable State Minister for Ministry of Information and Communication Technology was present at the signing ceremony as chief guest. Mr. Shyam Sunder Sikder, Sectary, ICT Division, Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman BoT, Daffodil International University, Mr. Shihab Ahmed, Chief Commercial Officer, Banglalink, Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Engr. A.K.M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Mr. Mominul Haque Majumder, Mr. Mohamed Emran Hossain, Director (Administration) and Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director of Student Affairs of DIU were also present in the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement both the organizations will jointly conduct research work for sustainable development of quality education, e-management, freelancing, outsourcing, e-business and business process.
