Daffodil International University has achieved the membership from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) which is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating and rewarding teaching excellence and embraces the virtues of teaching excellence and emphasizes to students that it is essential to learn how to learn. The Faculty of Business and Economics of Daffodil International University has received the accreditation in a formal event ceremony on November 01, 2014 held at Start up Restaurant. The Executive Director & CEO of ACBSP Mr. Douglas Viehland formally handed over the Membership Certificate to Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University where Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Engr. A K M Fazlul Haque, Registrar, all Deans and Heads of different Department & Faculty were present

During the program Mr. Douglas Viehland presented a short presentation on ACBSP and Mr. Md. Sabur Khan brief him about over all activities and initiatives taken by the university for betterment of the students and faculties to ensure quality education.  Mr. Douglas Viehland appreciated the activities of DIU and expressed deep satisfaction on its endeavor.
