Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University, exchanging MoU with Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit, President, Siam University, Thailand at the AUPF-2014.​

Daffodil International University (DIU) signed 14 bilateral Memorandum of Understandings (MOU)  and 2 Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with
Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines and Japanese top graded University at 13th Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) 2014 held from October 22-25, 2014.  Under these MOU and MOA Daffodil International University agreed to work for student exchange, faculty exchange, Research and publications through which DIU students now visiting these Universities and enrich their global capabilities. Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University signed the MOU on behalf of the university.

The conference is hosted by the Christian University of Thailand at Nakhon Pathom Province of Bangkok in Thailand. The theme of this year’s conference is ““Transcultural Challenges for Innovation in Higher Education”.  A three members delegate comprising Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor and Mr. Md. Emran Hossain, Director (Administration) of Daffodil International University participated at 13th Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) 2014.

These separate bilateral agreements aims and form of co-operation on: Exchange students, Exchange Faculty Members, Exchange in Research, Twinning Programmes and Centers of Excellence. Through these MOU, Daffodil International University students will get the opportunity to enjoy lot of international collaboration such as branch campuses, cross-border collaborative arrangements, programs for international students, establishing English-medium programs and degrees

Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees represented DIU and he presented its views on the development of higher education in Bangladesh, the experiences of the university in developing undergraduate and post graduate degrees and the university's.

His presentation title "Learning to Create Job: A New Approach to Higher Education in Bangladesh" given to AUPF in Thailand, on October 23. President and dignitaries of all key Universities in Asian region joined and appreciated the vibrant session.

72 Top University Presidents from Asia joined this great gathering and Christian University of Thailand, created a delightful environment for university presidents and leaders of various institutions and organizations to interact and exchange collaborations.

To cope with the global academic environment Daffodil International University is gradually adopting and upgrading its policies and practices by joining hands with different international organizations to facilitate its students and as a part of this phenomenon DIU has joined the 22 years celebration of AUPF 2014.
