Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University was accorded a grand reception at the colorful closing ceremony of three week long Asia Summer Program-2014 hosted by University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) held on August 22, 2014. Mr. Y. B. Dato' Seri Idris Bin Jusoh, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Education, Malaysia was present in the program as the chief guest. Mr.Y.B. Dato' Professor Emeritus lr. Dr. Zainai bin Mohamed, Chairperson, Board of Directors, Universiti Malaysia Perlis was present as the special guest. Brig. Gen. Datuk Professor Dr. Kamarudin Hussin, Vice Chancellor of University Malaysia Perlis presided over the closing ceremony.

Mr. Md. Sabur Khan was accorded a special reception by University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) and Brig. Gen. Datuk Professor Dr. Kamarudin Hussin, Honorable Vice Chancellor of UniMAP wrapping round him with a wrapper at the function and exchanged souvenir .In response to reception, while addressing Mr. Md. Sabur Khan expressed his deep gratitude and thanked the organizers for this arrangement and wished to continue DIU student’s participation in coming year’s Asia Summer program.

Mr. Md. Sabur Khan also said, three week credit-based program offering innovative prospect of Asia would help the students to build Cross-culture communication, Personal soft skill development, Confidence building, Career enhancement as well as mutual friendship among the participating countries. Students will have the opportunity to chance to adjust these two courses which they obtained at Asia Summer Program with their regular courses. Participating students would experience a highly international environment, allowing them to learn directly about the diverse cultures of Asia, he added.

33 students and 5 faculty members lead by Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director International Affairs from Daffodil International University joined Asia Summer Program held from 5-25 August, 2014 with other 300 delegates from 25 universities of over 12 countries.
