Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on June 30, 2014 donated Brazuca football to Daffodil International University (DIU) as a token of greetings to celebrate FIFA World Cup 2014 in DIU.
Mr. Bayazid Alam Zubair (Nipu), (Ex-Player of Bangladesh National Football Team) Technical Director- Bangladesh Football Federation handed over the Brazuka Football to Professor Dr. Aminul Islam, Emeritus Professor of Daffodil International University.

Prof. Dr. S M Mahabubub Ul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Mr. Mohamed Emran Hossain, Director (Administration) and Ms. Umme Kulsum, Head of the Department of English from Daffodil International University (DIU) and Mr. Abdul Razzaque, Football Coach (Ex-Player of Bangladesh National Football Team) from Bangladesh Football Federation were present in the program.
It may be mentioned here that Daffodil International University conducts English speaking and learning courses for the Football players under the guideline of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
