Speakers at the seminar stressed on to motivate people for collective effort to implement environment friendly green technology to transform the traditional brick sector into an improved & well regulated brick industry. They also said, we will always have to kept our concerns on environmental issues such as global warming, climate change and depleting energy resources and considering these environmental issues we should introduce green technology in the brick sector of Bangladesh which is financially benefitted as well as environment friendly. They also urged the government to come forward to implement the rules prevailing in this sector. They said these while addressing at the seminar on ‘Innovative Green Brick Technology: Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation’ held today on 26 May 2014 at DIU Auditorium. Department of Environmental Science & Disaster Management (ESDM) of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized the seminar in association with Yu Jin Tech and ASP Green Technology Ltd.

Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University was present in the seminar as the Chief Guest. Presided over by Professor Dr. M. Mizanur Rahman, Head, Department of Environmental Science & Disaster Management (ESDM) & Treasurer, Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, DIU, Mr. Lee Chong Luk, Chairman, Yu Jin Tech Ltd. Mr. Wang Sup Kim, Chemical Engineer, Yu Jin Tech Ltd. Were present in the seminar as Special Guests. Professor Mahbub Hasan, Executive Director, Engineering Resources International (ERI) presented the Keynote paper in the seminar. The seminar was conducted by Rezwana Khan, student of ESDM.
