A contract was signed between Evolysis Ltd., a partner of British Council, and Daffodil Institute of Languages (DIL), Daffodil International University, on cooperation regarding Aptis. The contract signing ceremony was held at the conference room of Sobhanbag campus of DIU on 22 May 2014. The contract paper was signed by Dr. Md. Ridhwanul Haq, Director, on behalf of Evolysis Ltd, and Dr. Binoy Barman, Director, DIL, on behalf of Daffodil International University.

On the side of DIU, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Aminul Islam, Emeritus Professor, Professor Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, and Ms. Umme Kulsum, Head, Department of English, among others, attended the signing ceremony. From Evolysis Ltd., Mushtaque Ahmed, Director, Mr. Rehan Azad, Business Development Manager, and Ms. Lamia Tammim, Executive Marketing, and from British Council, Mr. Deep Adhikari, Director Examinations Bangladesh, Mr. Khondokar Syeed Hasan, Head of Business Development Examinations, and Mr. Md. Nafizuzzaman, Business Development Manager Examinations, were present.

Aptis is an English language proficiency test, the qualification of which is often demanded by the employers in various fields nowadays. It is a new testing system offered by British Council and is being implementing by Evolysis Ltd. in Bangladesh. Under the contract, Evolysis will arrange workshops and training sessions for DIU teachers, employees and students, who would like to appear at Aptis test.
