Mr. Junaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for ICT said, Prospective and talent young generation will transform labour oriented economics of Bangladesh into talent and knowledge based economics. In association with JAICA, ICT Ministry will produce 30-50 thousand certified IT skilled professional within next 5 years. Appreciating the talent of our youth he said, Bangladeshi youths have proved their performance in the global world achieving 2nd position in the IT Engineers Examinations attending for the first time.

He said, the goal of the present government is to build knowledge and technology based Digital Bangladesh and to implement this goal government has under taken long term “Vision 2021”. He said, 70% of our total populations are youth who are below 35 years and have strong potentiality and prosperity. To prepare this young generation to face the challenges of 21st century and build self reliant Bangladesh an individual ministry named as “Ministry of ICT” was formed by this government in 2011 to work with great attention and care.

He said these while addressing as the chief guest at the seminar on "Information Technology Engineers Examination" held today (January 30, 2014) at Daffodil International University Auditorium. Daffodil International University in association with Ministry of  ICT, JICA, BDiTEC, and BCC organized this awareness seminar.

Ashfaque Hussain, Executive Director of BCC addressed the seminar as the guest of honor.

Dr Sheikh Amzad Hossain, Project Director of ITEE Management was the keynote speaker and highlighted the detail presentation and discussion on the content and preparations for the successful readiness of ITEE.
