8 Korean students from Dongseo University arrive at Daffodil International University on July 03, 2013 for Research Projects on “Life Ethics” under Dongseo Asian Initiative Program supervised by Professor Cho Mang. Through the Dongseo Asian Initiatives Program, these Korean students and supervising professors will pursue innovative research projects. The intention is for the teams to be quite independent in administering lessons and organizing outings during their time abroad. The students, with the aim of building Cross-culture communication, Personal soft skill development, Confidence building, Career enhancement as well as mutual friendship between the countries. Students will have the chance to adjust these courses with their regular courses.

To become more attractive for foreign students and researchers and to increase its appeal as a world centre for excellence, DIU has joined its name in great initiative named “Dongseo Asian Initiative Program” taken by the Dongseo University, Korea.
As a part of this program Asian Summer Program (ASP) 23 students from various departments of Daffodil International University will join a three week credit-based program offering innovative prospect of Asia offered by Dongseo University at Busan, Korea from July 8, 2013.
