Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University and Dr. Md. Mozibur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute are seen to exchange the MoU.
To ensure mutual benefits of developing course materials and modules including offer of the same nationally and internationally, offering masters program on International Trade jointly in collaboration with foreign universities keeping academic and professional synergy and to exchange faculty members and trainers in mutually agreed manner a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Daffodil International University (DIU) and Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) today on June 09, 2013 at the Conference Room of Daffodil International University.
Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University and Dr. Md. Mozibur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer, Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
The signing ceremony was addressed by Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University & President, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and the program was conducted by Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director of Student Affairs.
Emeritus Professor Dr. Aminul Islam, Prof. Dr. Zakir Hossain, Director of Studies, Prof. Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Golam Mawola Chudhury, Controller of Examinations, Professor Mokarram Hossain, Business Faculty, Mr. Emran Hossain, Deputy Registrar were present on behalf of Daffodil International University and other high officials of DIU and BFTI were present in the signing ceremony.
Md. Fokhray Hossain, Registrar, Daffodil International University and Mr. Mohammad Farhad, Research Fellow, Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) witnessed the signing.
Under this agreement signed at DIU in the capital’s Sobhanbagh, both the organizations will develop, offer and conduct masters program on International Trade and will conduct the short courses jointly using the resources and facilities in a mutually agreed manner. Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute will get the opportunity to use DIU e-library and online facilities of Daffodil International University
