Challenges prevailed in ICT field should be overcome through better

services – Hassanul Haque Innu


“We will have to face the challenges prevailed in the field of ICT through services. Our young generation holds immense prosperity into them. It’s our long term challenge to build a self reliant and enrich Bangladesh with the inspiration of Liberation War”- said Hassanul Haque Innu, Chairman, Parliamentary standing committee on Post and Telecommunication Ministry while addressing as the chief guest at the seminar at Daffodil International University. He added, it is urgent to expand ICT relevant facilities to build Prime Minister’s committed “Digital Bangladesh within 2021. He also said, an enriched Information Society is urgent for building enriched civic society for the country which will make success the public befitted initiatives through exchange of ICT services.

Daffodil International University and Campus Today jointly organized a seminar in observe of International Telecommunication Day-2010 today at Daffodil International University Auditorium.

Mr. Syed Marguib Morshed, Former Chairman of BTRC and Major General (Rtd.) Syed Mohammad Ibrahim were present as the special Guests.

Presided over by Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Governor’s, Daffodil International University Professor Dr. Md. Golam Mowla Chodhury, Chairman, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Daffodil International University delivered the address of Welcome. Mr. Tapan Kumar Nath, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Industries presented the keynote speech at the Seminar. The message of the UN Secretary General Bankee Moon was read out by Kazi Ali Reza of United Nations Information Center, the seminar was also addressed among others by Syed Abu Raihan, Joint Secretary (Rtd.), Mr. Mahamud, Adviser, World Health Organization.
