Dr. Aminul Islam, Emeritus Professor and Founder VC of Daffodil International University officially launching Moot Court Society of Daffodil International University through cutting a cake.
The official inaugural ceremony of ‘Daffodil Moot Court Society’ a law organization of the students of the Department of Law of Daffodil International University was held on April 20, 2013 at DIU Auditorium. Dr. Aminul Islam, Emeritus Professor and Founder Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University was present at the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest. Professor Dr. M. Golam Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, DIU, and Barrister Md. Abdul Halim, Advocate, Bangladesh Supreme Court were present as the guests of honor. Ms Farhana Helal Mehtab, Founder & Chief Advisor, Daffodil Moot Court Society and Head, Department of Law, Daffodil International University was the Chair of the session.
The members of the society will get the opportunity to prepare efficient drafts in the fields of litigation, most importantly to submit their oral arguments and counter arguments before the honorable panel in both civil and criminal fields. It started its unofficial journey on September 13th 2012 by participating in the 8th National Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition 2012 on International Humanitarian Law.
A large number of students were present at the inaugural ceremony of the program.
