Daffodil International University Air Rover Scout Group distributed warm cloths among the destitute winter victims of Gobra Tola Union of Sadar Upazila of Chapainawabganj district on 8th January 2013. Dr. Shah Alam, Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj was present at the program as Chief Guest and distributed warm cloths among the winter victims. Among other distinguished guests Mr. Md. Mosfiqur Rahman, Founder, Chapainawabganj Muktomohadal & Deputy National Commissioner, Bangladesh Scouts, Professor Dr. Majharul Islam Toru, Head, Department of Bangla, Nababgonj Government College, Ms. Farhana Rahman Setu, Rover Scout Leader, DIU Air Rover Unit, Mr. Shaiful Islam Khan, Public Relations Officer, Daffodil International University Mr. Md. Shamim, Rover Scout Leader, Chapainawabganj Muktomohadal were also present in the warm cloths distribution program.
Ten members of DIU Air Rover Unit in collaboration with Chapainawabganj Muktomohadal Scout Unit distributed 4000 pcs of warm cloths among the destitute people.
Earlier the rovers of DIU Air Rover Unit moved door to door and different markets and collected the cloths from Dhanmondi and its adjacent areas targeting to distribute at the remote areas on northern part of the country.
