Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Daffodil International University attended a two day long international conference on “Best Practices in Supply Chain Management” at Siksha-O-Anusandhan University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India from November 22-23, 2012. The conference was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University. The conference was inaugurated by Odisha Governor Muralidhar C. Bhandare on 22 November 2012. The conference was attended by a large number of experts from several countries. Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University, Diego Galar, former Vice Chancellor of Saragossa University, Spain and Commander B.M. Bhandarkar, Chairman of the Mumbai-based Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering (IIIE) spoke in the Inaugural Ceremony and Prof. Lutfar Rahman chaired a technical session on “Information Sharing of International experts”.
