DIU National Debate Festival-2
Guests on the dias at the opening ceremony of DIU National Debate Festival-2012
Focusing the slogan “ In dream and struggle, In variety and balance, continuous in beauty” - a 10 day long DIU National Debate Festival-2012 began today on September 27, 2012 at Daffodil International University Auditorium. DIU Debating Club of Daffodil International University organized this festival in association with Oxfam Bangladesh.

Rashed Khan Menon, MP, Chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh Parliament inaugurated the festival as chief guest. Md. Sabur Khan Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University and Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of the university was present as the special guests. Presided over by Rashedul Hassan, Moderator, DIU Debate Club the function was also addressed by Farhana Helal Mehtab, Convener of the festival, Syed Mizanur Rahaman,Director ( Student Affairs) and Jayanto Bhowmik, President, DIU Debate Club.
The festival will be held from September 27, 2012-October 07, 2012 at DIU Auditorium. 100 participants comprising 150 teams of different public and private universities, colleges and schools are participating in the festival. Management and Resources Development Initiative and Manusher Jannay Foundation will act in this festival as Technical partner.
