They said these at a Talk Show on “The Right to Food: A Fundamental Human Right: held today at DIU auditorium.

DIU Debating club in collaboration with Oxfam Bangladesh organized this Talk Show on “ Food Security” at University auditorium as a part of their 10 days long DIU National Debate Festival-2012. Moderated by Rubayet Ferdous, Associate Professor, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, University of Dhaka the talk show was attended by Mr. A.M. Badrul Hassan, Former Economic Minister, Bangladesh Mission to Geneva, Mr. Ahsan Uddin Ahmed, Climate Change Expert, Dr. Abdullah Al Faruk, Dean, Department of Law, University of Chittagong and Dr. Bellal Hossain, Associate Professor, Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering. A large number of students and faculty members enjoyed the talk show.

DIU Debating Club of Daffodil International University organized - a 10 day long DIU National Debate Festival-2012 from September 27, 2012 to October 10, 2012. 1000 participants comprising 150 teams of different public and private universities, colleges and schools are participating in the festival. Management and Resources Development Initiative and Manusher Jannay Foundation will act in this festival as Technical partner.
