Seminar on ‘Research at NASA: Experience and Learning’

To enrich students knowledge and explore their talents, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Faculty of Science and Information Technology of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a seminar on ‘Research at NASA: Experience and Learning’ on 7th August, 2012 at DIU Conference room.

Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present in the seminar as the Chief Guest and Emeritus professor Dr. Aminul Islam was  present as special guest where Ms. Nomana Intekhab Hadi, Research Associate, Nasa Ames Research Center, Earth Science Division was present as Keynote speaker. Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Mawla Choudhury, Head In Charge, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering presided over the seminar.

Addressing as chief guest Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman said, Students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of Daffodil International University would be more benefited and can improve their knowledge by getting lot of information on NASA.

The Keynote speaker Ms. Nomana Intekhab Hadi, Research Associate of NASA in her presentation explained about scientists of NASA, how they are working on satellite, investigating to find out the existence of life on other Planets, researching about Ice-level. Then she shared her personal experience on NASA and through multimedia projector she exhibited history of NASA and plan for purifying arsenic from water in Bangladesh. She then explained about the future plan of NASA and invites DIU students for internship at NASA.

Faculty members and students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department attended the seminar and enjoyed the presentation.
