ohammad Ashiqur Rahman, Manager, Credit Risk Management, IDLC Finance Limited. The workshop was organized and specially designed for 4th year students of BBA Program majoring finance and accounting. Students who are interested to work in SME sector and want to increase their knowledge to be successful in this area.

Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics was present as the chief guest and Mr. Masum Iqbal, Head of BBA Program was also present in the workshop as special guest. Ms. Sabrina Akter, Lecturer, Faculty of Business & Economics conducted the workshop.
The workshop aimed to arrange on the loan operation procedure of SME business in Bangladesh which is generally followed by all Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions of the country. Particularly, the speaker conversed about the credit risk management process of Small & Medium Business clients of the financial institutions. The students of business have received enormous benefit from the discussion. They would understand the SME business and their prospective financing opportunities throughout the country. Also the students have received in depth knowledge how borrowers can: loan application be proceed and in which way Banks and NBFIs will provide loan to borrower.
