Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman of Daffodil International Universit and a standing committee member of AUPF, moderates the first session, themed- ‘Asia Alliance University (AAU): Unite Asia through Education - One Platform, Infinite Possibilities’, having esteemed leaders from higher education institutions from Lithuania, Macau, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea and India as panelists.

Daffodil International University (DIU), a prominent private university in Bangladesh, represented the country at the prestigious international forum, Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF). Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman of DIU and a standing committee member of AUPF, moderated the first session, themed- ‘Asia Alliance University (AAU): Unite Asia through Education - One Platform, Infinite Possibilities’, having esteemed leaders from higher education institutions from Lithuania, Macau, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea and India as panelists.

The session took place on October 31, 2024 (last Thursday), at Dongseo University, Busan, South Korea, as part of the three-day AUPF conference from October 30 to November 1. This year, AUPF brought together over 50 higher education leaders from 15 countries, fostering dialogue on collaborative and innovative advancements in higher education.

Dr. Jekuk Chen, President of Dongseo University, shared his vision, saying, "By building a new university platform through the Inter-Asia Universities Alliance, the global status of East-West Universities will be elevated and stimulate inter-university exchanges between East-West and Asia universities." His statement was widely supported and agreed by the other panelists.

In his session, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan rightly connected each of the panelist and their expertise for an effective future goal wheel action plan and need based initiatives were focused to implement together. 

The Asian University Presidents' Forum (AUPF) is a forum that has been designated as universities starting with the first forum in Thailand in 2002. 61 universities abroad, including Asia, are currently enrolled as members and are expanding to include universities and presidents across Asia.
