Dr. Mohammed Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar of Daffodil International University and Dr. Debasish Sarker, Director General of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute exchanging MoU documents between them in presence of Professor Dr. S M Mahabub Ul Haque Mazumder, Acting Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University and Dr. Ferdousy Islam, Director ( Service & Supply), Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, Chief Scientific Officer ( Training & Communication wing) of  Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI).

Daffodil International University (DIU) and Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) have signed a ground breaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aiming to advance agricultural research, technology transfer, and innovation on July 02, 2024 at Conference Room of the university. Dr. Mohammed Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar, Daffodil International University and Dr. Debasish Sarker, Director General of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institution. Professor Dr. S M Mahabub Ul Haque Mazumder, Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Bellal Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Health and Life Science, Professor Dr. M A Rahim, Head of the Department of Agricultural Science of Daffodil International University and Dr. Ferdousy Islam, Director ( Service & Supply), Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, Chief Scientific Officer ( Training & Communication wing) of  Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI)  along with other high officials of both the institutions were present at the MoU Signing Ceremony.

 Under this MoU, Department of Agricultural Science of Daffodil International University (DIU) will collaborate closely with BARI to provide post-harvest technology development, promotion of BARI technology, new agricultural varieties, technologies, and information to farmers, extension workers, and researchers. This collaboration also offers DIU graduates opportunities for internships and research.
