Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of Daffodil International University and Prof. Dr. Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT signed the Agreement to set up IBSCC at the DIU Campus. 

Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Deemed to be University, Odisha, India, signed a time-demanding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in an online ceremony on May 16, with the goal of setting up the India-Bangladesh Study and Cultural Centre (IBSCC) at the DIU campus.

 From DIU, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, and from KIIT, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Saranjit Singh, signed the agreement in the presence of officials from both institutions. The IBSCC aims to enhance academic relations, achieve research and teaching synergies, collaborate among HEIs of Bangladesh and India, expand youth engagement, and promote cultural diversity between the two nations. The plan for IBSCC was initiated during the visit of Dr. Md. Sabur Khan on January 28, 2024 at KIIT University in a meeting with the founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta.
