Daffodil International University Model United Nations Association (DIUMUNA), a proficient club of Daffodil International University (DIU) is going to organize its very first international MUN Conference, titled “Daffodil International Model UN Conference 2020 (DaffodilIMUN)” from 2-5 January 2020 at DIU Permanent Campus. The theme of the conference is “Empowering Good Governance & amp; Sustainable Development through Youth Partnership 2030”. More than 350 delegates from national and international level will attend this conference. United Nations, Bangladesh is the “Associated partner” and UN Information Center, Dhaka is the “Knowledge Partner” and Daffodil International School and Daffodil International College are the organizing partner of DaffodilIMUN 2020 and ‘The Financial Express and the Independent TV are the media partner of the event.
All these were informed at a press Conference held today on 30 December, 2019 at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University. Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU chaired the press conference, The Press Conference was also addressed by Prof. Dr. S M Mahbubul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Md. The press conference also said that it will be 4 days of Conference at the Permanent Campus of DIU at Ashulia where students who are goingto represent different countries will be practicing diplomacy along with the proceedings of UN. Hence this conference will be one of the largest Residential Model UN conferences of the country.
