Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah, Chairman of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) is exchanging his views eith Dr. Md. Sabur Khan and other high officials during his bisit to Daffodil International Univversity.
Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah, Chairman of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) visited Daffodil International University permanent Campus at Ashulia while he attended the colorful closing ceremony of 18th AUPF-2019 on 24 November 2019. A total of 150 Presidents, Rectors and Vice Chancellors from 40 universities from Asian 15 countries including Bangladesh were also present at the program.
While addressing as the chief guest Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah said, Daffodil International University has been playing a vital role to create quality graduates and young entrepreneurs. Other universities should follow Daffodil for learning entrepreneurial education. In the meantime he also praised the green and clean environment of the permanent campus of Daffodil International University.
Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah said I don’t understand why students move to traffic city for education purpose, where we have such a beautiful impressive campus? He said “If I were young today, I wouldn’t mind to study in this university campus”.

Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah moved around the whole campus area and visited Academic Building, Innovation Lab, Food Court, Swimming Pool, Male and Female Halls, Auditorium, Gallery, Central Mosque, Shahid Minar, Anisul Haq Bhaban and talked with the students. He individually talked with the students and asked them, if anything else they need for fulfilling this campus? Students replied that the campus has all facilities required for a world class state- of-art campus. It’s a campus with full facilities like library, lab, hostel, sports zone, green field, food court, quality education which we enjoy most. etc. They expressed their happiness to be a student of this campus.
It may be mentioned that the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) is regulatory authority to look after and monitor all universities and worked to develop and ensure quality education.
