With the title on ‘Entrepreneurship Development’ the African Students’ Conference of Dhaka, Bangladesh was held on November 4, 2019 at the Banquet Hall of Daffodil International University (DIU). A total of 140 Somalian students of different private and public universities including DIU participated in the conference. The conference was jointly organized by the Career Development Center (CDC) and Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (DIE) of Daffodil International University and the event was sponsored by Daffodil International Academy (DIA).
Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Group CEO of Daffodil Family was present as the chief guest while Mr. Mostafijur Rahman Shohel, Managing Director and CEO, Advance ERP Bangladesh presented the keynote presentation in the program. Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, International Affairs of DIU, Mr. Md. Ali Imran, Assistant Academic Director, DIA and Mr. Mohammad Shibli Shahriar, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DIE) and other officials of Dept of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DIE) and CDC, DIU were present in the Seminar.
The speakers in their speech focused about entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial ecosystem issues and focused about the basics to be an entrepreneur including some examples regarding International Entrepreneurial activities and events, conducted by DIU International Affairs.
