Department of Law of Daffodil International University celebrated Constitution Day 2019 on November 4, on that very day in 1972, the Constitution of Bangladesh was adopted.
The Constitution Day had been observed with a theme “Celebrating Nationalism, Socialism, Democracy and Secularism”. To commemorate the Day, a quiz contest was held. The Daffodil Constitution Day Quiz Contest 2019, as it was named, had been attended by the students from different departments of Jahangirnagar University, Jagannath University, Bangladesh University of Professionals, University of Asia Pacific and by the students of the host university.
The Daffodil Constitution Day Quiz Contest 2019 was held in two parts. At first, the Preliminary Quiz Contest was held on October 23, 2019. One hundred Twenty students participated at that preliminary contest. The Twelve highest scorers were selected for the Grand finale. The Grand Finale was inaugurated by Associate Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Professor Dr. Farhana Helal Mehtab.
The Grand Finale took place at the Banquet Hall, Daffodil International University. Abdullah Al Noman, student of Department of Law, Daffodil International University was the champion and Ahmod Husain Akkas, student of Department of Law, Bangladesh University of Professionals was the runner-up. Numerous students from different universities and different departments were the audience. There was an audience round where they were asked questions. They voluntarily participated and gained prizes for the audience.
A seminar on the Constitution Day accompanied by a prize giving ceremony was held  where the prizes were hand over the prizes to the winners.
