Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University speaking among the journalists at the “Meet the Press” on ‘Daffodil English Olympics 2019’held today at university conference room organized by Department of English.
To create a huge motivation among Bangladeshi students for learning English “Daffodil English Olympics 2019” for the students of class 9 to class 12 from all over the country is going to be start from October 25, 2019. Department of English of Daffodil International University is going to organize this competition of English language proficiency named “Daffodil English Olympics 2019”.
Participants from class9 to class 10 (as well as ‘O’ level) will fall in the junior category while participants from class 11 to class12 ( as well as ‘A’ level) will fall in the senior category. Primarily Selection Round of competition will be held on online plat form. Participants have to ensure their registration paying BDT 100. There are three options for paying registration fee, 1) bKash 2) On spot Registration during the campaign in any school or college 3) by visiting Department office. Top 50 participants from each category will be selected for Final Round which will be held on 13 December 2019 in 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University. In the Final Round top 10 participants from each category will be awarded cash prizes, crests and certificates.
