Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University (DIU) is receiving ‘Joy Bangla Personality Award’ of Bengal Human Foundation from Professor Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Sher E Bangla Agriculture University
Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University (DIU) achieved ‘Joy Bangla Personality Award’ for his tremendous contribution to spreading education. Bengal Human Foundation gave him this award on 28 September, 2019 with a program in a hotel in the capital. Professor Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Sher E Bangla Agriculture University was present as the chief guest in the program and handed over the award to Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub UlHaque Majumder.
Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder is serving as a Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of Faculty of Science and Information Technology in Daffodil International University. In 2005 he joined DIU as the Head of the Depart of Textile Engineering Department. Later on he hold the position of Controller of Examinations and many other distinguished positions.
Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder started his career in University of Chittagong as a Lecturer of the Department of Chemistry. Then he gradually promoted and got responsibility as Head of the Department and Acting Registrar. In 2002-2003 he got responsibility in National University as a Dean of Curriculum Development and Evaluation.
In the long journey of teaching life he got many scholarship like UNSCO Fellowship and British Council Scholarship. He is a life member of Bangladesh Association for the Advancement of Science and Bangladesh Chemical Council. He also a consultant of American Biographical Institute.
