Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori (Associate Professor and Associate Head, Department of CSE) visits the ‘Inter Section Programming Contest Summer 2019’ organized by Daffodil International University Computer and Programming Club (DIU CPC)

Daffodil International University Computer and Programming Club (DIU CPC)  organized ‘Inter Section Programming Contest Summer 2019’ in association with CSE Department on 20th August 2019 at Daffodil International University. DIUCPC with the inspiration of Prof. Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain (Head,Department of CSE,DIU) organized the largest team contest in the history of Daffodil International University.  
It was a team contest for the students of 2nd semester of CSE department and each team consisting of 2 to 3 members. The contest was held in all three campuses of DIU (MC, PC and UC) at the same time and organized by DIU CPC main campus along with CPC-PC and CPC-UC.
This contest was related to academic marks of "Programming and Problem Solving Lab". A total of 592 teams took part in this contest in two slots. In which 195 teams were from Permanent Campus and 17 teams were from Uttara Campus and the rest 380 teams were from Main Campus.

Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori (Associate Professor and Associate Head, Department of CSE),Abdus Sattar (Assistant Professor, Department of CSE),MD Zahid Hasan (Assistant Professor and Coordinator MS in MIS), Shah Md. Tanvir Siddiquee (Senior Lecturer, Department of CSE), Saiful Islam (Senior Lecturer,Department of CSE), Mr. Md. Sazzadur Ahamed(Senior Lecturer),Aniruddha Rakshit(Senior Lecturer,Department of CSE),Ms. Fahmida Afrin(Lecturer,Department of CSE)  and other faculty members and CPC Alumni members were also present during the contest.

Dr. S. M. Aminul Haque (Associate Professor and Associate Head, Department of CSE), faculty and CPC-PC members were also present during the contest.
Out of 592 teams, 195 teams participated from Permanent Campus. In the top 25 teams of Slot-A, 6 teams were from Permanent Campus including the first runner up team. In the top 25 teams of Slot-B, 10 teams were from Permanent Campus starting from the 8th position.

Contest was held from 10 AM  in two slots. Total number of problems were five. Top teams from Slot-A solved all the 5 problems in which one team was from Permanent Campus (ranked 2nd) and one was from Uttara Campus (ranked 4th) and the other 5 teams were from Main Campus including the Champion team of Slot-A. In Slot-B, no team could solve the 5th problem. The top 26 teams from Slot-B solved all the first 4 problems.
Dr. Rashid Haider Noori was the Judging director of this contest and Rifat Islam Robin Was the Contest manager.  Raihanur Rahaman, Md. Mehedi Hasan and Md. Nesar Ahmed jony were the Problem Setter and Judge of this contest.

The contest started at 10 AM and ended at 4 PM including both of the Slot-A and Slot-B.
