Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DIE) of School of Entrepreneurship (SoE) of Daffodil International University (DIU) and Government Shahid Suhrawardi College have jointly organized a seminar on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” on 06th July 2019 at the auditorium of Government Shahid Suhrawardi College in the capital.

Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer of Daffodil International University was the Chief Guest. The seminar presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Abul Hossain, Principal, Government Shahid Suhrawardy College while Mr. Mohammad Shibli Shahriar, Head, Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, DIU and S N Azad, Adjunct Faculty, Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, DIU were the Keynote speakers.
Around 500+ students and faculty members of Government Shahid Suhrawardi College and faculty members of Daffodil International University attended the seminar. Later the DIU team sat with the faculty members of the college and exchanged views on these critical issues.
Mr. Mohammad Shibli Shahriar and Mr. S N Azad highlighted the entrepreneurial activities of DIU by providing elaborate description of the activities under the School of Entrepreneurship. They stressed on the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship to enable self reliance of the youth force that will in turn help the government in attaining the SDG goals and national development targets by 2030 and 2041 respectively. The participating youth bunch was encouraged to dream big and work hard to remain motivated at all times.
